Setting the Trend in Green Cab History... At a time when Green Taxi's were newly introduced to the Industry, San Gabriel Transit Inc. dba City Cab was one of the first Green Cab Pioneers since 2001.
We are constantly doing our part to help ensure cleaner air, less smog and pollution in the environment by using CNG vehicles. City Cab so far has purchased thirty-three Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) Green Cab's. This not only helps promote cleaner air, but it enhances the fleets’ quality. We’re also proud to say that San Gabriel Transit Inc. dba City Cab is one of the first taxi companies to purchase Green taxi cabs and contribute to better air quality. By the end of 2002 an additional 15 CNG Green Taxi Cabs were added and with a total of 48 new CNG vehicles; this makes City Cab a company with the highest number of “Green” Cabs in a taxi fleet within Los Angeles.
